Wedding Photo Booth Apps.
A simple photo booth can cost over $1000! Fortunately for the thrifty wedding planner, there is an app for that. While there are many out there, one notable one is Pocket Booth. The interface is simple, it has lots of fun filters and even lets you print to an Airprint compatible printer. The next runner up is IncrediBooth. Since it is from the makers of Hipstamatic, you can expect lots of retro effects. IncrediBooth also has a nice feature that lets you pick one photo from the strip and share it.
No iPad? No problem! You can rent one from Flying Connected for a fraction of the cost. If you are worried about the safety of the iPad then maybe hire a photo enthusiast to be in charge of it.
Don’t stop, once you decide on a wedding photo booth app though. You still need to set up some good lighting. This doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or be overly complicated. The most important element of good lighting is soft light. Too strong or too harsh lighting creates harsh shadows that generally isn’t flattering for portraits.
An easy way to set up a soft and flattering light is using a paper lantern. You can get them from Ikea and most anywhere for under $20. Watch this 2 minute tutorial video by Frameline and you will have all you need to know on how to set this light up.
These photos will circulate your social networks, but chances are you’ll want physical copies of the photos, tucked away in a printed book. To find out more about how Pixobook can supply you with a bound book of all your wedding photo booth app photos, contact us.
