Sharing photos with Instagram.

If your Instagram posts are set to public

you can add the custom event hashtag to your photos and that will make them visible on public hashtag pages where Pixobook can download them.

If your Instagram posts are set to private

Instagram-Private-Profile-Settingand you want to share your Instagram event photos, then please consider turning your privacy setting to “OFF”. Instagram will not allow hashtagged photos from private accounts to show up in public hashtagged feeds.

We will notify the hosts and you once we have downloaded all the hashtagged photos (usually 24 hours after event) and then you can return your settings to their original privacy settings.

How do I use #hashtags?instagram hashtags

  1. Take a photo and choose a filter (or “no filter”)
  2. On the screen you see after choosing a filter, type your #hashtag in the Caption field (example: #vwbus).
  3. If you want to tag a post you’ve already uploaded, just include your #hashtag in a comment on your photo.
