Sharing photos with Google+.

Just before the event you will receive an email sharing the link for the Google+ event page.

With Google+ Events, everybody attending the event can share their photos to a single photo collection. You can see the pictures people are taking as they are uploaded. 

After you have accepted your invite to the Google + event you can add photos easily.

To add a photo

 Android

  1. Open the event URL link you were sent in the introductory email from Pixobook
  2. Say “YES” you are going, now the event will be listed in your “Upcoming Events”
  3. Open the Google+ app > touch  the down arrow (near the top right corner).
  4. Touch Events > touch the name of the event.
  5. Touch the menu icon/button > Add photos > select photos from your camera roll > touch Select in the top right corner.

Iphone (you will need the google+ app)

  1. Open the event URL link you were sent in the introductory email from Pixobook
  2. Say “YES” you are going, now the event will be listed in your “Upcoming Events”
  3. Open the Google+ app from the navigation menu screen.
  4. Touch the menu icon/button (left hand corner) > Touch Events > touch the name of the event.
  5. Touch settings icon (right hand corner) >Add photos> select photos from your camera roll > touch Select in the top right corner.

 

What is Party Mode? (Android Only)

When in Party Mode, the Google+ app will automatically upload and share photos and videos to a Google+ event photo collection.

You will continue uploading new photos and videos until the event ends or you disable Party Mode. Anyone who can see the event can see your photos.

If you’ve RSVP’d yes to an event, you’ll get a phone notification asking you to turn on Party Mode when the event begins.

You can also turn on Party Mode through the event page up to two hours before the event.

Turn party mode on or off

  1. Open the Google+ app > touch the down arrow near the upper right corner > Events.
  2. Touch the event > Check or uncheck the box next to “Party Mode” to turn it on or off.
